Virtual Tour of Vatican City

Virtual Tours are magic. I didn’t have to walk around - there were no giant crowds, or a museum docent telling you to move along. I enjoyed everything right from my armchair at home. I even drank a soda. Vatican City is definitely a place I'd want to go that I may never get to otherwise. The artwork and architecture are filled with stories of creation, war, and human life. Stories from the Bible where the ultimate goal is to get to heaven if you are nice enough. And if you’re not, well.

The Sistine Chapel is the best part, the dimensions are incredible. Michelangelo’s patience must have been immense - I could see myself getting bored painting that. My arm would be very sore, I wouldn't want to look down from the very large scaffold, and I’d need to be very careful getting up.

Even the floors are complex. You wouldn't want to cover them up with carpet, or walk on them with stilettos. Floor to ceiling, this city is art.

The Virtual Tour was a very smooth experience, with high detail. I would change very little about the program - including the cost, which happens to be free. That way, you can save up for the next trip, virtual or otherwise.
